Our Team

Scott is our owner and chief. Painter and decorator by day, trombonist and piano player by night. He has always been passionate about paint and using quality products, so when he came across some brands unavailable in the NE of Scotland, he thought why not bring them here for all of us to appreciate their greatness!

Scott is always full of ideas that keep the rest of the team on our toes, so there is never a dull day when Scott is in the shop. He also loves to talk paint, so if you’re lucky enough to get some painting advice from Scott, you’d best pull up a chair as he really does care about you getting that perfect finish!

LEIGH is co-owner, but you could say she is co- everything as she plays a pivotal role in every aspect of the business. She will always roll her sleeves up and get stuck in!

From upgrading systems and dealing with customer queries, to doing the accounts and keeping a watchful eye on what the team are spending… 👀

Leigh is often spotted in store on a Saturday morning mixing up paint and talking products with the customers over a cup of tea.

JASON is not only our store manager and product expert, but he is also our social media star!

If he is not meeting and greeting our customers in store, you may find him on our social pages talking about all the goodies he has in store to offer you.

So, if you don’t know your primer from your top-coat, he is there to help!

JULIE is the creative one and you will often find her in store, chasing the team about for photos and videos.

Working behind the scenes, Julie mainly covers marketing and our Training Academy but she is also Scott’s ear when it comes to talking over his latest grand plan!

As an avid DIY’er she’s able to give a practical end user point of view on our products, and her home projects can often be spotted on our social media feed.

MIKE is our driver, our man on the street.

He’s the one who safely delivers our decorating goodies to all the folks in the NE of Scotland.

If you spot him out and about in our paintmobile, give him a wee wave and make sure to let him out of the junction… 😉

Dexter is Scott and Leigh’s beloved black lab, and he is often spotted by Scott’s side in store looking for a treat or some attention from visiting customers. That’s the dog, not Scott!
